It depends entirely on your goals and how much you practice between sessions. Most students reach basic conversational Hebrew within 8–18 months. If you're planning on making Aliyah, working in Hebrew, or want to comfortably engage with Israeli media (news, television, radio), the learning process can take longer. My goal is to help you learn Hebrew online and start speaking naturally as quickly as possible, rather than just memorizing vocabulary.

Private lessons are 60 minutes long and can be scheduled flexibly to fit your availability. All lessons are conducted via Zoom, allowing you to learn Hebrew online comfortably from anywhere.

Once we get started, each session typically includes:

15–30 minutes of engaging conversation, where you practice speaking naturally and build your confidence in the Hebrew language.

30 minutes of targeted instruction, introducing new vocabulary and grammar tailored to your level and goals.

Every lesson is designed to help you progress. You’ll discover something new each time and receive a short, focused assignment to reinforce your learning between sessions.

Assignments can be submitted anytime before your next lesson. I’ll review, correct, and return them to you before our next lesson, ensuring we can dedicate our time together to what truly matters: speaking, thinking, laughing, communicating, and responding in Hebrew.

At our Hebrew language school, there is no long-term commitment required. Every student comes in with different goals and at various levels, so lessons are scheduled on a session-to-session basis. Whether you choose to join our Hebrew Ulpan or learn Hebrew online, you can continue for as long as the lessons remain valuable to you.

No. Many students start at our Hebrew language school with little to no background in Hebrew. If you’re not familiar with the alphabet, worry not; we’ll incorporate it into our lessons at our Hebrew Ulpan while emphasizing speaking and comprehension from day one. The goal is to get you using the language immediately, allowing you to learn Hebrew online without getting stuck in theory.

The focus at our Hebrew language school is primarily conversational. That said, grammar is introduced as needed to support real communication — not as isolated rules to memorize. Through our Hebrew Ulpan, you'll learn how Hebrew actually sounds and functions in everyday situations, which leads to faster and more natural fluency, especially when you choose to learn Hebrew online.

Apps and traditional programs often focus on memorization, repetition, and large group settings. In contrast, my approach at our Hebrew language school is fully personalized and centered around real conversation from the very beginning. It is adapted to your specific goals, whether that’s for Aliyah, relationships, work, or travel. You’re not following a generic curriculum; instead, the curriculum is customized to help you effectively communicate in Hebrew. Most students at our Hebrew language school take 1–2 sessions per week. Progress depends heavily on consistency and practice between sessions. I’ll recommend a schedule based on your goals and availability, whether you choose to learn Hebrew online or attend our Hebrew Ulpan.

Yes — but it’s designed to be practical and manageable for students at our Hebrew language school. Homework reinforces what we cover in sessions and helps you progress faster in your Hebrew Ulpan. You’re also welcome to send your work in advance so I can review and correct it before we meet, making it easier to learn Hebrew online.

Absolutely — many of my students who attend this Hebrew language school fall into exactly these categories. Our Hebrew Ulpan offers lessons that can be tailored to: Everyday conversations in Israel, cultural nuances and slang, and real-life situations such as dating, work, and social interactions. The focus is on helping you feel comfortable and confident as you learn Hebrew online and navigate real-world Hebrew.

At our Hebrew language school, I use WhatsApp to: 

- Share whiteboard screenshots from our sessions 

- Send pronunciation recordings
