It depends entirely on your goals and how much you practice between sessions.
Most students reach basic conversational Hebrew within 8-18 months. If you're planning on making Aliyah, working in Hebrew, or want to comfortably engage with Israeli media (news, television, radio), the process can take longer.
My goal is to get you speaking naturally as quickly as possible, not just memorizing vocabulary.
Private sessions are 60 minutes and scheduled flexibly to fit your schedule. All lessons are conducted via Zoom.
Once we get started, each session typically includes:
Each lesson is designed to move you forward. You’ll learn something new every time—and receive a short, focused assignment to reinforce it between sessions.
Assignments can be submitted anytime before your next lesson. I’ll review, correct, and return them to you before our next lesson so we can spend our time together doing what matters most: speaking, thinking, laughing, communicating, and responding in Hebrew.
There is no long-term commitment.

Apps and traditional programs tend to focus on:
My approach is:
You’re not following a generic curriculum — rather, the cuerriculum is customized to address how you need to actually communicate in Hebrew.
Most students take 1–2 sessions per week.
Progress depends heavily on consistency and practice between sessions. I’ll recommend a schedule based on your goals and availability.
Yes — but it’s designed to be practical and manageable.
Homework reinforces what we cover in sessions and helps you progress faster. You’re also welcome to send your work in advance so I can review and correct it before we meet.
Absolutely — many of my students fall into exactly these categories.
